When the being is clear the doing is effortless
Yoga is meant to unite mind, body and spirit. Many yoga classes, in the US, are designed to give only your body a work out. Often ignored is the deeply meditative and spiritual aspects of yoga, which can serve as the path for our journey toward inner peace.
Chakras Yoga classes help us find forgiveness, healing and freedom. When we practice yoga we begin a journey of self discovery and with each small change we experience within, we come closer to changing the human consciousness as a whole.
A few times each year I lead a Chakras Yoga Intensive. These workshops focus on setting a sankalpa, letting go of what no longer serves us and making space for the new.

The Chakra System
Chakra is the sanskrit word meaning wheel or vortex. They are mentioned in the ancient Hindu texts, the Vedas, dating back to 300BC.
There are seven major chakras in the body. They run along the spine and correlate with specific body parts, emotions and senses. We often create phusical and emotional blocks in these centers, closing ourselves off from feeling fully alive.
These powerful energy centers help regulate our emotional and physical self. Blockages in the Chakras can cause confusion, illness and emotional upset. A Chakra will react by either opening up too wide to get what it needs, thereby filling up and becoming blocked or the Chakra will close down to protect itself and not allow energy in.
By learning how our energy centers affect us and how to clear them we can enhance our lives.

If you are teaching a YTT program and would like to have a Chakra Presentation please let me know. I have a lecture designed for trainings.
