What happens in our lives is a mirror for what is happening inside. It is what we BELIEVE that enters into our lives. You attract what you think about.
Svadhisthana is about letting go of control. Its element is water and it is our emotional center, so learning to just ride the wave, go with the flow is an important lesson with the Second Chakra. Usually, when we are desperate to control a situation; it is because of fear.
Fear, is a useless emotion for us to cart around in the Sacral Chakra. It gets in the way of our will (Third Chakra) and stops us from really living our life. It stops us from having what we truly want in our life.
A good practice is to stop with each moment and ask ourselves what is driving our decision. If the answer is fear then stop, take a breath and ask yourself "Yes And?" Lets say you are afraid of losing a friend. What will happen to you if this person walks out of your life? What is it that you are afraid will happen? They will speak badly of you to other friends? "Yes, and?" You will miss having someone to jog with? "Yes, and?" When we break it down into specific questions and really think about it through, you will see that you will survive this thing you fear.
Fear is only False Evidence Appearing Real, most of the time. Yes, it can serve us when there is actually something to be afraid of but in most cases it is just our mind running away with our thoughts and holding them captive.
We have to keep in mind that our thoughts create our reality. If your energy is focused on the thing you DON'T want to happen chances are you are going to make it happen. Your every action will be laced with the underlining energy of fear.
Allow yourself to feel life and know that you have the strength to move through it with courage. Excepting what is in every moment. Being present to experience joy or sorrow with fearless grace and peace.
The point of power is always in the present moment. You are never stuck. This is where the changes take place, right here and right now in our own minds. It doesn’t matter how long we’ve had a negative pattern or an illness or a poor relationship or lack of finances or self-hatred. We can begin to make a shift today.
Your problem no longer needs to be the truth for you. It can now fade back to the nothingness from whence it came.
You are the only person who thinks in your mind. You are the power and authority in your world.
Your thoughts and beliefs of the past created this moment and all the moments up to this moment. What ever you now choose to believe and think and say will create the next moment and the next day and the next month and the next year.
This moment begins the new process. Each moment is a new beginning. This moment. The point of power this moment is where change begins.
